Whoa Dint See That Coming. In the short story, "The Sniper" Two Irish me are in the middle of a heated gunfight. They are on opposite roofs exchaging shots. At this time, the book goes in to how such action are so bland and are committed with little no thought. The protagonist starts to make a diversion in efforst to fool his opponent. He puts his hat on the barrel of his gun and titls it down. This creats the immage of hime being dead. Once he thinks that it is the right time, the portagonist takes his shot. The bullet was enought to kill, so he goes on to the other roof. When he turns over the dead body, he realizes it was his brother. Some may say that was okay becaue they were fighting on opposite sides of the war. This ties in to the author previously saying how no one puts thought in to their actions. This was a great ending, but it was clearly anticpated. I would recomend this to anyone who has a few minuets to spare.
